A breath of fresh air for the pet parent who wants to leave their dog in the right hands.
Whispering Pine K9 boarding is for the pet parent who wants more than a place to drop their dog off. It is for the person who wants to breathe easier knowing their dog is safe, cared for, and living real life with people who genuinely understand dogs.
Our boarding is upscale, in-home, and built around quality over quantity. Dogs staying with us are not treated like a number in a kennel lineup. They stay where we are, live life with us, and are cared for with thought, structure, and attention.
For many pet parents, that kind of peace of mind is everything. That is why our goal is not just to watch your dog. Our goal is to give you a true mental and emotional breath of fresh air while you are away.
A Different Kind of Boarding
WPK9 boarding is designed for dogs who do better with a more personal, home-based experience. This is not high-volume kennel boarding. This is thoughtful care in a real-life setting, with structure, supervision, and attention to what each dog needs.
Dogs staying with us are with us. They are part of daily life, not simply checked in and checked out. That difference matters, especially for pet parents who want to leave town without carrying constant worry.
For boarding stays longer than 5 nights, pet parents may also have the option to add select a la carte training during their dog’s stay. Boarding itself is care. Those add-ons are simply available for families who want a little more from a longer stay.

What Our Boarding Feels Like
Safe. Personal. Structured. Thoughtful.
We have built our boarding experience for people who want their dog cared for in a way that feels more natural, more attentive, and more connected than a basic kennel environment. We believe peace of mind comes from knowing your dog is in capable hands, in a setting where care actually means something.

How Boarding Starts
1. Start by reaching out through our contact page or intake form. Tell us about your dog, your travel dates, and what kind of support you are looking for.
2. We review each request carefully because fit matters. Not every dog is the right fit for every environment, and we take that seriously.
3. Once approved, we will guide you through the next steps, including required records, reservation details, and anything we need to make your dog’s stay go smoothly.
Boarding Requirements
For the health and safety of the dogs in our care, current records are required. Depending on the stay, this may include proof of vaccines, flea and tick prevention, and a recent negative fecal. We reserve the right to decline or end a stay if a dog arrives ill, unsafe, or not as represented.
That is not about being difficult. It is about protecting the dogs entrusted to us, protecting our environment, and giving good pet parents the peace of mind they came here for.
Reservations & Stay Details
All boarding requests and details are handled directly through us so the process stays clear and personal. Once a stay is approved, we will walk you through the reservation process, what is needed before arrival, and how to prepare your dog for a smooth stay.
We want the experience to feel simple on your end, not stressful. Clear communication matters here, and so does making sure both the dog and the pet parent feel set up well from the beginning.
What to Bring for Your Dog’s Stay
Please bring your dog’s food portioned clearly by meal, along with any medications in their original container. A properly fitted collar and working leash are important, and labeled belongings are always helpful.
The goal is to keep your dog’s stay as smooth and familiar as possible while helping us care for them well and keep everything organized.
